A winters walk with my little girl

You and I shared such a lovely, peaceful, fun day today.

We took a walk down to the rock pool.

It was a quiet, calm, winters day.

The trees are bare.....but my heart isn't.

Peregrine's Tabletop is a beautiful, rustic, warm and cozy location for a wedding.

Dan and Tully were amazing and it was lovely to share in their day.

Love....in it's most raw and significant form....so beautiful.

Whenever I see them together I wonder what they will be like when they get older.

I see glimpses of them now and think I may be able to see into the future...but can I really,

or do I really want to?

They share a bond too special for me to fathom.

They share beginnings more difficult than I could ever image

yet they have precious, innocent friendship.

Whenever you two can spend time together you have so much fun.

You are both active and love a bit of mischief.

You don't like saying goodbye BUT you both love saying hello.

Hello's don't happen often enough though!

This shoot was so much fun....one of the most enjoyable sessions I've done.

A gorgeous mum and her darling daughter.  A place that is really special to sweet little Elina ....and a few furry friends that have been with her for years.

Beautiful light....beautiful location...beautiful people.

I didn't actually get to know this couple very well because I was 'second' shooter.

What a privilege it was though to see love in all it's beauty and with all the fun and joy that happens during a wedding.

I had lots of fun capturing the guys getting ready and the hysteria when they confidently started trying to tie their bow ties only to find how hard it was!  45 mins later with the help of the iPad, and we were finally done.

We then drove the 1/2 hour to the bride's family property out in Corowa, NSW.  I felt like I had died and gone to heaven.  If anyone asked me what was the perfect wedding setting I would love to photograph....this would have been it.

A fairytale wedding.....an amazingly beautiful day.....an experience I will never forget xx
